"All I Ever Wanted Was To Be A Mother"

About a week ago, a woman in the US gave birth to octuplets. Before giving birth to her eight kids, she gave birth to six. She was criticized for this as she is still schooling and UNMARRIED. During her interview, she was asked a lot of questions that I know I wouldn't be able to handle. But yet, she sat there, poised, relaxed, and answered every single question like she's been doing this all her life. This is an example of nonverbal communication. It shows that she's confident and knows what she is facing. The way she spoke, her verbal communication, was also quite strong. She didn't stammer or had "uh's" or "umm's". This comes across as another sign of confidence.

She said that she can provide for her kids without any help from the government (e.g. welfare, government funding, etc ...). Now the question I am asking is ... Can she do it as she has no job?

  1. Yes she can, if she has a sugar-daddy.

And i agree with your point about confidence. If you're damn sure when you say something, you will naturally leave out the brain-farts or pausers a.k.a ahhs and umms..

  2. LOL .... but what if she doesn't have a sugar daddy? How can it be possible?

  3. Confidence??? Why not.. she been paid to get fertilize. She had trouble conceiving and underwent in-vitro fertilization treatments to conceive her older children. And she did the same again this time. The treatments resulted in leftover frozen embryos, which she-Nadya did not want to destroy. When given the option to selectively abort some of the embryos and then the fetuses, she refused.
This woman is not with confidence. She got mental problems and some of children are found to be autistic and what about the rest of her kids? It is no wonder no "real" man want to marry her yet.

    News reported stated:
Yolanda Garcia, a former caregiver for Nadya's three-year-old autistic son, said Nadya seemed happy to have a large number of children and said she wanted a total of 12 kids.

"She told me that all of her kids were through in vitro, and I said 'Gosh, how can you afford that and go to school at the same time?"' Garcia told the Long Beach Press-Telegram. "And she said it's because she got paid for it."

Garcia was unable to provide details about how Nadya may have been paid to have children.

According to the Press-Telegram report, Nadya Suleman got a degree in child and adolescent development from California State University in Fullerton in 2006. According to a university spokesperson, Suleman was studying for a master's degree in counselling as late as last spring.

Suleman's fertility doctor has not been named, nor has the identity of the sperm donor that fathered the children been revealed.

Birth certificates for the four oldest children list a David Solomon as the father, according to The Associated Press, which did not locate certificates for the other children.

Did it wake up one's thought now??

  4. I personally have serious doubts over their livelihood. Her kids are still so young and how is it possible to not neglect anyone especially if she’s pursuing her master’s degree. I noticed she said something about being there for them and to love them but if she is sending them to day care centers and stuff like that, I really can not associate that with motherly love. With the current situation, will these newborns get the proper environment to grow up in? She may be steady and composed while being questioned and all but at the end of the day, the burning issue that I have is will she be able to fulfill her duties as a mother to each and every one of her children?

  5. I agree. Although she may be very composed throughout the interview process, this does not mean that she will keep her cool when dealing with her big number of children.

I think she is being very self-centered when she says that all she wants is to have children. She is still studying, and from the interview, it seems that the father of her children isn't very involved in the whole issue. Yes, she may love her children, but making the choice of wanting to have so many kids without thinking of how to provide for them in the first place is quite irresponsible.

  6. She is a very selfish and self center mother thinking of only her own and claiming to love her children. How? 3 of them on disabilities and one autism and her mother helping out to take care of the children and also friends and neighbours have to help with taking care of and she got a huge sums from tax returns every year and now with 8 more babies, she already claimed in her interview that friends and neighbours will be there to help to give food and diapers and the father of the babies are in shock to find her with all 14 childrens. So what is the father doing to hide away from those children and how will a mother be able to take care of so many kids at a time??? And above that she goes to school and provide for her children?? I wonder with what if there is no help or assistance from some sources. Who is she lying to? Herself or the world? People must be blind and deaf not to see and hear for themselves the truth and her answered in national tvs claiming her loves and her unselfishness. She already knew she is putting her new borns into danger as some of them becoming mental problems not to say health problems. A single mother with no help how to feed all the children and to prove for them? Nothing but a full face liar and just want to be notice and be world news to catch attention and lastly nothing else but to get all the money given to her one way or another or freebies for sure.
